What we collect
When you submit a form on this website, we collect the information you type into that form — typically your name, email address, company name, and a description of what you need — along with the page you submitted it from, the page you first landed on, the referring site, and any campaign (UTM) parameters in the address. That context tells us which page produced your inquiry so we can respond usefully.
We run privacy-conscious, first-party usage analytics: page views, referrer, device class, clicks, and scroll depth, tied to a temporary per-tab session identifier — no cookies, no cross-site tracking, and the browser "Do Not Track" setting is honored. We may also use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization; it likewise respects Do Not Track. We do not use tracking pixels or sell data to ad networks.
How we use it
Form submissions are stored in this site's private storage and a notification is emailed to wgolden@goldenconsultingpartners.com. We use the information solely to respond to your inquiry and, if an engagement begins, to scope and deliver the work you've requested.
We do not sell, share, or license your information to any third party. We do not use it for marketing beyond responding to your specific request.
Form handling infrastructure
This site is hosted on Netlify. Form submissions pass through a Netlify serverless function, are stored in Netlify's Blobs storage under this site's account, and the email notification is relayed via Zoho SMTP. Netlify's privacy policy applies to transit and infrastructure.
AI Chatbot
This site includes an AI-powered chat widget. When you interact with it, your messages are sent to xAI's Grok API to generate a response. Chat transcripts are stored in this site's private storage so the conversation can continue across messages, and are forwarded by email to the business inbox for follow-up purposes — the same way a contact form submission is handled.
We do not use chat history for advertising or profiling. If you'd prefer not to chat, every page has a contact form and a direct email address.
Retention
Inquiry emails and stored form submissions are retained for as long as the thread is relevant to a potential or active engagement. If you'd like your information removed, email wgolden@goldenconsultingpartners.com and we will delete it promptly.
